*for commercial use only, the surveyor needs to arrange the mandatory ITC69/coding certificate after the documents have been approved by the UK authorities. Small Commercial vessels require either a Work Boat Certificate, Passenger Boat Certificate, Small Commercial Vessel Certificate, or appropriate safety certificate at the time of registration done by one of the authorised surveyors.
We specialize in registering boats, jet skis, canoes, and water scooters in the United Kingdom. The UK Part 1 flag registration is internationally recognized and allows you to sail under the UK “Red Ensign” flag anywhere in the world. Our registration process is fast and hassle-free, requiring minimal paperwork.
The UK Part 1 yacht registration is available for private, bareboat, and commercial vessels up to 24 meters in length. If your vessel exceeds 24 meters, registration is still possible, but a mandatory ITC69/coding certificate must be obtained through a surveyor.
The UK “Red Ensign” register is managed by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MCA), ensuring efficient administration and international support. Additionally, transfers between British Ensign flags are straightforward.
The UK Part 1 registration is open to anyone. If you are from an approved country (see list below), you can register as a private owner. If not, we can still register your vessel by setting up a UK dormant company to own it.
Many of our clients are non-UK nationals who seek a flexible and less restrictive jurisdiction, particularly those from countries with strict maritime regulations such as Spain, Italy, Greece, and France.
